Snow & Ice

Where’s Global Warming when you need it? I know a lot of Coloradans that are about to throw their snow shovel at something. I for one have had about enough snow to last a few seasons.

A friend of mine moved to Colorado a few years ago and when he left the north east, he was asked why he’d ever want to move to the “frozen tundra“. Well, up until this year, we laughed at silly statements like that as Coloradans usually enjoy a 3 to 4 snow dump season and it typically doesn’t stick around for more than a week.

We’ve had the white stuff on our lawn and in our backyard for well over 6 weeks now and it’s beginning to get old. VERY old. I swear the back yard will not thaw until June or July at this rate. We still have March and April to go, which are normally the snowiest months.

I keep singing in my head “Snow-snow go away, come again some other day” (sung to rain-rain go away).

Now to get my shop dug out, AGAIN, and see if our cars for Altitude Dream Cars will be okay…
