Short Stories
I am focused on the Thriller genre as some I prefer to both read and write. While I’ve read a lot of different genres’, science fiction, mysteries and non-fiction business related, my preference is the overall category or genre of “thriller”.
I’ve recently begun to think about short stories and the thriller genre. While novels offer a longer more structured approach to writing, short stories are great for letting the mind wonder, firing up the creative juices and letting the imagination run wild.
All you need for a good short story is a beginning, a middle and an end, they’re actually easy to bang out. (No, seriously, my imagination runneth over.) My preference is to put a “twist” on the story to make the reader really think.
